In addition to extensive design-build participation, Louis Ptak Construction procured and installed all exposed woodwork for this private residence in Woodside, California.

Designed by architect Peter Bohlin of Bohlin, Cywinski, Jackson, the project earned a Wood Design Award for its custom cabinetry, powerful beamed ceilings, and soaring, wood-clad walls. It received a 2009 Merit Award for Excellence in Architecture from AIA (San Francisco), as well as four other design honors.
